Codes & Conventions of Magazine
- Masthead- usually at the top of the front page; includes titles, and names of editors and writers
- Tagline- informs you what its about and what audience it targets
- Coverlines- insight on what the magazine is going to be about
- Central Image- attracts the audience before they start to read
- Cover Model- lets the reader know what the genre is based on
- Color Scheme- sparks interest to a certain group
- Barcode- keeps track of magazines being sold
